			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Does anyone know how much the top blogging postion pays?&#8230;&#8230;please read my previous blog&#8230;&#8230;&#8221;A day in the life of Lance&#8221;&#8230;&#8230;.I have spent the last 90 minutes trying to be the most popular blog of the day&#8230;..I reached that spot want to see if I could hold unto it&#8230;..I woke up at 0500 today and posted right away&#8230;&#8230;I wanted to get the number one spot&#8230;..and at 0500 there is no one on this site&#8230;&#8230;but damn someone beat me to it&#8230;&#8230;next week I might set my alarm for 0259&#8230;..and at 0301 hit the enter button that might just work&#8230;..</p>
<p>so you people in the know&#8230;&#8230;is the first spot of the day Eastern Daylight time or Pacific Coast time?&#8230;&#8230;..I did figure out if you hold a conversation on your own blog it counts as comments&#8230;&#8230;how clever&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>So to all Nebwies&#8230;&#8230;you are not that important to the Buddy Slim community&#8230;&#8230;.if you stick around awhile you might be able to understand the blogs&#8230;&#8230;since they are so personal in nature&#8230;..you will learn the names of spouses, dogs and mother in laws&#8230;..hang in there until you are welcomed into these social clicks&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>I guess the new people love reading blogs about herculin work outs efforts&#8230;&#8230;I know when I feeling really down on my body image&#8230;..and barely in shape that I can even type I want to know about exotic work outs and someone being braggadocious&#8230;&#8230;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This morning I went out for my walk/jog&#8230;&#8230;its been a great week for exercise&#8230;.my legs are coming back&#8230;..the last 3 days in a row I have been able to jog 2 or miles without any walking&#8230;..this morning I started my walk/jog the legs felt tired&#8230;.so I decided to walk an extra block before I started to jog&#8230;.I started to jog my legs were sluggish&#8230;so I went back to walking&#8230;.&#8221;Okay George lots of walking today&#8221;&#8230;.started to jog again&#8230;and that&#8217;s when by best friend chipped in and gave me a hand&#8230;.</p>
<p>A few years ago&#8230;..I had a healt condition&#8230;..he was called FLU&#8230;.Fat, Lazy and Unhealthy&#8230;..my doctor ordered me to get a pacemaker&#8230;..the pace maker is my IPOD&#8230;&#8230;it is the classic IPOD&#8230;.it has 80K of memory&#8230;.in my pacemaker&#8230;.I have over 6,000 songs&#8230;.classical, punk rock, blues&#8230;.etc and etc&#8230;..I also have the bible&#8230;..many books&#8230;.it is the heart of my exercise program&#8230;..</p>
<p>so I&#8217;m trodding along&#8230;&#8230;and the pacemaker&#8230;..which I play on shuffle&#8230;love to be surprised&#8230;..me and my pacemaker are in sync most times&#8230;.and days like today&#8230;.my pacemaker sensed what I needed to hear&#8230;.as I was struggling with my body and mind&#8230;..a meditation came on my pacemaker&#8230;.it was to cleanse my Root Chakra&#8230;.normally I would skip over this and get back to music&#8230;I said to myself maybe you need to hear this&#8230;..by the time the track was over my mind was totally clear and my legs felt fine&#8230;&#8230;I continued my jog&#8230;..just I started back to the house&#8230;.my pacemaker played Bruce Springsteen&#8217;s &#8220;The Rising&#8221;&#8230;.it is such a good song&#8230;it starts slow and the tempo gets faster and faster&#8230;.before I even realized it&#8230;.Im basked in sunlight chugging at a fast clip&#8230;..and then bam&#8230;&#8230;..AC/DC live&#8230;..and the heart is racing and the sweat was pouring off the body&#8230;..my battery is extra charged today&#8230;..the weather is great&#8230;.and I am looking at a 5 day weekend&#8230;.</p>

<p>Just a little ranting&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;this morning had a great jog&#8230;&#8230;.I just started wogging&#8230;&#8230;.a combination of walking and jogging&#8230;&#8230;I am trying to get my running legs back&#8230;&#8230;it is a process&#8230;&#8230;even though I have cardio strength&#8230;..my legs have not been up to the task&#8230;&#8230;.I have stop weight training on my legs&#8230;&#8230;and it is paying off&#8230;&#8230;.today I had my first 2 1/2 mile jog&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.with no walking involved&#8230;&#8230;like Leonard DiCaprio said &#8220;I am on top of the world&#8221;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230; </p>

<p>Saturday morning I was feeling really tight&#8230;..after 2 cups of coffee and prescription strength ibuprofen&#8230;..I was slightly ready to go out for my walk/jog&#8230;..I needed to pay attention to my body and not my mind&#8230;.my body was telling me&#8230;.you need to take it easy&#8230;..more walking less jogging&#8230;.the mind is saying today is your long day&#8230;..plus you missed yesterday&#8230;..start my walk&#8230;.and at the second stop sign I usually start my jog&#8230;.my body said not ready&#8230;..so I continued walking&#8230;.normally by the 1/2 mile my body is feeling good and the mind is cleared of the cob webs&#8230;.not happening&#8230;this continued throught my work out session&#8230;.</p>
<p>you really need to listen what your body is telling you&#8230;..like when you body is tired&#8230;.your mind takes over convinces you can push yourself and ignore getting rest&#8230;.eventually the body speaks louder and there are consequences to pay&#8230;.</p>
<p>when you are eating correctly&#8230;..the body is telling you it likes it&#8230;you&#8217;re peaceful and energetic&#8230;.but the mind tells you it wants more food or food that is not healthy&#8230;..the body then tells you its going to get fatter and sluggish&#8230;..</p>
<p>When I went to the gym yesterday I did light weights and light cardio&#8230;.I felt pretty good taking it easier yesterday&#8230;.the light workouts is what the body needed yesterday&#8230;&#8230;and today I feel stronger and will most likely have stronger workouts&#8230;.</p>
<p>You really need to listen to both your mind and your body&#8230;.you need to realize which one is telling the truth&#8230;..somedays the body is doing good and the mind is telling lies&#8230;.you can&#8217;t work out today you have too many things to do&#8230;.go ahead eat that donut nothing will happen to you&#8230;.</p>
<p>It is important that you exercise the mind&#8230;..I read every day,meditate and do yoga twice a week&#8230;..I find that if I ignore the mind&#8230;&#8230;my thinking gets out of whack&#8230;..and the body follows&#8230;.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have put on 6lbs in the past 2 weeks&#8230;&#8230;&#8221;summer is here and there is dancing in the streets&#8221;&#8230;&#8230;.I have partied the last 2 weekends away&#8230;&#8230;.and have followed my eating plan haphazardly during the week&#8230;..that is why I am where I am&#8230;&#8230;.</p>
<p>In the news lately there have been many stories about how exercise alone will not cure our obesity problem and lack of exercise is not the cause of obesity&#8230;&#8230;.I have come to figure this out&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>Here is a typical week of exercise for me&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;I work out 7 days a week&#8230;&#8230;I do on average 300-42o minutes on the eliptical machine&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;180 - 240 minutes of jog/walking&#8230;&#8230;200 - 250 minutes of weight lifting and take at leasst 2 hours of yoga&#8230;&#8230;in the past 2 weeks I haven&#8217;t missed any workouts and still managed to gain 6 lbs&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>I need to make a decision to make and that is to party or not to party&#8230;&#8230;..if I continue at the rate that I started the summer off&#8230;&#8230;..come fall I might have to knock off 20 lbs&#8230;..</p>
<p>I hit a milestone 2 weeks ago&#8230;&#8230;for the first time in at least 25 years I weighed under 200 lbs&#8230;.I hit the 199 mark&#8230;&#8230;..and it been all down hill since&#8230;&#8230;so going on the physco babble side of things&#8230;..I guess I sub consiously set myself up for failure&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>I want to get back into the 190&#8217;s and stay there for the summer&#8230;&#8230;.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t like Mondays becasue of the good time I have on the weekend&#8230;..this weekend was my second weekend in a row&#8230;&#8230;where I just completely went off my eating plan&#8230;&#8230;and alcohol involved since Friday&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>On a good note&#8230;&#8230;I did lots of exercise&#8230;&#8230;.and was good with eating most of the day&#8230;&#8230;but lost control by the end of the day&#8230;&#8230;.touched all 3 bases&#8230;&#8230;ice cream, french fries and pizza&#8230;&#8230;..and plenty apple crumb pie&#8230;.</p>
<p>Last week I had a gain&#8230;&#8230;.and most likely will have a gain for the upcoming week&#8230;&#8230;the winter is so easy for me&#8230;&#8230;I do nothing on the weekends except read&#8230;&#8230;not the case once the weather breaks and it is broken&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>feeling a little spent this morning from abusing my self with eating and drinking&#8230;&#8230;.going out for my morning walk/jog&#8230;&#8230;the good news is on Saturday probably jogged for a mile and half without stopping&#8230;.</p>
