My quest to be top blogger…..
Does anyone know how much the top blogging postion pays?……please read my previous blog……”A day in the life of Lance”…….I have spent the last 90 minutes trying to be the most popular blog of the day…..I reached that spot want to see if I could hold unto it…..I woke up at 0500 today and posted right away……I wanted to get the number one spot…..and at 0500 there is no one on this site……but damn someone beat me to it……next week I might set my alarm for 0259…..and at 0301 hit the enter button that might just work…..
so you people in the know……is the first spot of the day Eastern Daylight time or Pacific Coast time?……..I did figure out if you hold a conversation on your own blog it counts as comments……how clever……
So to all Nebwies……you are not that important to the Buddy Slim community…….if you stick around awhile you might be able to understand the blogs……since they are so personal in nature…..you will learn the names of spouses, dogs and mother in laws…..hang in there until you are welcomed into these social clicks……
I guess the new people love reading blogs about herculin work outs efforts……I know when I feeling really down on my body image…..and barely in shape that I can even type I want to know about exotic work outs and someone being braggadocious…….
Anyway you top bloggers the number of comments to beat today is 20…….I am sure I didnt set the bar high enough…….you can do it ladies……I might have a shot it is a holiday weekend and I know the winners on this site those who have lost weight will be out enjoying their new bodies and energy……..time for me to enjoy mine…….have a gret day…..

Nancy is usually top. She lives out in Cali and I think she doesn’t go to bed until about 1 AM so her blog is counted as really early in the morning.
Also, everyone reads her blog. lol
um i dont get it…why do you want to be the top blogger…nancy is usually always on top…and everyone reads her blogs, and she tries to read everyone she can, and leaves comments to many people showin support.

This really pisses me off. If you worked even half as hard as Nancy and alot of the rest of us, you would have to work so hard to stroke your own ego.

i think you are sick. these are not “social clicks” and the if you werent so psychotic then maybe people would accept you. we all encourage and support each other and you are missing out on the point of this website. CERTAIN people have top blogs because CERTAIN PEOPLE ARE THERE FOR OTHER PEOPLE. THE top blogger is THE TOP BLOGGER BECAUSE she spends HOURS on here supporting other people and that is why people want to support her and follow her. I think you are disgusting and should be reported to Dr Marc.
yOU WERE right about one thing, if you stick around long enough and SUPPORT others, then you will be supported as well. Its not about popularity, and apparently you need to go back to highschool to fullfill all your lifetime disappointments.

Wow, someone has to much time on their hands. Do you really think Nancy gets a kick out of being the top blogger? She is the top blogger because like the others have said she spends so much time on here encouraging and supporting others. I love reading about Nancy’s workouts even though i’m 250+ and my workouts consist of walking and swimming. She motivates me, and whenever I have a question she answers ASAP. Look how far she has come, and now to take the time and support the rest of us….. She is an amazing woman, someone I’d call a “true friend”!
I think good points can be made with out being rude. That being said, there are glitches I think on this site with how blogs are posted. The comments received by others is not important. The fact is, some people spend a lot of time on here helping people (Kama and Nancy) and they should be commended for all that they have done for people.
I have wanted advice at times and not recieved it, but sometimes it is better to look with in and realise that strength with in is more important then the neediness to have that feedback.
You make your points, but do you see how you might come across as….negative/mean?
No one should take your words as offensive, because I do not think they are worth it, and yet, very good people with good hearts will.

Ya know, I saw this blog early this morning and said I was gonna stay away from it. But since then I have had time to think about it and instead of letting it go its just pissed me off more. I know this is an attack on Nancy so I wont speak for her. We all know girl is strong and could whoop your ass or anyone elses ass so I’m gonna let her speak for herself.
But when you comment on the “ladies” and how we know each others names and spouses and dogs names..well I take that as an insult. You speak as if we are a soap opera. Well let me tell ya something, we arent. We are friends, we are intelligent, we are strong and we are great! We are friends. Yes, we cry, we bitch, we talk about cramps and our PMS but we are the best bunch of women you will EVER want to meet. And funny, we have other male buddies here who accept us and dont try to insult us. And please tell me why a 50 year old man would care what post appears first? I strongly suggest you quit setting that alarm for so early in the morning so you can be quarterback of the football team here and instead take your wife out to a nice breakfast and PAY someone to squeeze your damn orange juice. Because buddy if you got mad at me for not having your orange juice squeezed, you would have bigger worries about what I would take to squeezing on YOU next.

So let me get this straight…you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time than make it your number one goal to be the top blogger on Buddy Slim…..says a lot about your character…But way to go, by being a complete and total ass, you got a bunch of comments and will probably make your life’s goal, but too bad this shows off your high schooler’s mentality…this site is for people who want to loose weight, its not a popularity contest, we are here for each other to buddy up, to learn from, and get to our goals together, blogs are just that blogs, you dont have to read them, you dont have to comment on them, they are for people to blog about whatever they freakin want, when I blog it sure isnt to sit and hope with my fingers crossed that I will make it to top blogger, I have a life, you have one too I hope…Anyway, this place is like any other social setting, some people will get along, some people wont and that is the way of the world…grow up and get on with your bad self

A blog is just a electronic diary so we can write our feeling and happening as we please. So can you!
If you really want to be a top blogger start paying mindful attention to the people on here and give real support and people will read your blogs.

My blogs have rarely become the most popular, but I get the support I want in many ways. I help people, and in return they help me.
