If you exercise you lose weight…….
I have put on 6lbs in the past 2 weeks……”summer is here and there is dancing in the streets”…….I have partied the last 2 weekends away…….and have followed my eating plan haphazardly during the week…..that is why I am where I am…….
In the news lately there have been many stories about how exercise alone will not cure our obesity problem and lack of exercise is not the cause of obesity…….I have come to figure this out……
Here is a typical week of exercise for me…………I work out 7 days a week……I do on average 300-42o minutes on the eliptical machine………180 - 240 minutes of jog/walking……200 - 250 minutes of weight lifting and take at leasst 2 hours of yoga……in the past 2 weeks I haven’t missed any workouts and still managed to gain 6 lbs……
I need to make a decision to make and that is to party or not to party……..if I continue at the rate that I started the summer off……..come fall I might have to knock off 20 lbs…..
I hit a milestone 2 weeks ago……for the first time in at least 25 years I weighed under 200 lbs….I hit the 199 mark……..and it been all down hill since……so going on the physco babble side of things…..I guess I sub consiously set myself up for failure……
I want to get back into the 190’s and stay there for the summer…….
You can do it. Find a healthy alternative, give yourself a reason to have a party this summer.
