What a long straight trip its been…..been at this since 12/07 lost a good amount of weight and last June made it down to 202 and couldn’t not get any lower…..I started at 265…..lots of exercise and eating less…..
The summer was a problem for me……I call it the 3 B’s……Beers, BBQ and Babes….in other words much too much partying and good times…..good during the week…..and the B on the weekend Binging…..so the whole week would be about getting back what I gained on the weekends…
The summer turns into fall…….gained during the summer maybe 10….got back to the 202….couldn’t crack the 200 mark…….fall turns into the holidays…….stopped eating by the Super Bowl…..gained 19 lbs….sitting at 221…..
got back to doing the right things and that leads me to today……for the first time since about 1980 I am weighing less that 200 lbs….I feel absoultly great…..health issues in 2006………put my health in bad shape….today can honestly say I feel better than when I was in my twenties…..as the Obamabots like to say “YES WE CAN”
One of my better qualities is frugality……lost 65 lbs all together….and yet still wearing most of the same clothes……talk about savings….this week I went out and bought some duds that fit…
This morning…..the first person I needed to see……”wow you look fantastic, you look 10 years younger and you better stop losing weight…
2nd person called me Mr. Handsome….
The next stop I was told that I looked GQ….and how sexy I looked…..and she went ahead and took a vote from about 5 or 6 other girls in the area….
I just didn’t stop today…..this other girl told that I was looking hot (no one has ever said that to me)….and she rubbed my shoulders telling me how much she likes my shirt….
When I went to the gym at lunch……there was a girl in the gym that I haven’t seen in months….she stopped me dead in my tracks….and said your effing perfect don’t lose another pound…..
